New Age Grace – No Master

New Age Grace are tuning up to release their debut full length album No Master on 6th November, and Makeit-loud.com got an early listen.
New Age Grace are the kind of band that would get thrown out of jail for being disruptive. They’ve built a steady following of rock fans since releasing their first single in 2023. No Master is a 12 track collection of material from those early days, plus plenty of new songs to keep you hooked.
Here’s a quick rundown of the new tracks: The first song on the album is No Master, which has a sombre opening before the full force kicks in with soaring vocal harmonies. Amy Louise’s voice is packed with emotional vulnerability as she sings “I want to be me”. She displays the kind of raw intent that can only come from a lived experience.

Life Without Walls has a wonderful ballad feel to it, and some valve popping guitar work from six string maestro Kenny Cassells. Nice Try is an up-tempo old school rock song that’s bound to get the mosh pit moving. Porcelain is the heaviest track to this point on No Master. Once again there’s great vocal harmonies, and Kenny Cassell’s bends notes like he works on the winding machine at Ernie Ball’s slinky strings factory in California.
Breathe has an excellent guitar riff and plenty of overdrive in this metal heaven of a track. Don’t Follow is another ballad style song, but with a hard sprint through the finish line and some more epic guitar work. The final track is Part of Me. This could have been written by AC/DC, as it’s reminiscent of their early days’ boogie-woogie rock.
All in all, a fine effort from New Age Grace. Let’s hope they take it on the road soon.
