New Age Grace – Without Conscience
King Kenny Cassells is back with his band of rock renegades to tear off your band-aid of music mediocrity. Yes, it’s New Age Grace and their latest single ‘Without Conscience’.
The track (release date 5th April 2024) kicks in at a mid-tempo pace, allowing singer Amy Louise ample space to display her emotionally intense vocal style. Chris Swirles percussion and Kenny’s rhythmic guitar work lend a supportive edge, and then the chorus kicks in: Boom! We have lift-off, with Amy Louise in full powerhouse rock mode.
Amy Louise has consistently demonstrated that she’s one of the finest female rock vocalists in the UK today. Her ability to climb the notes and sustain them is simply on a different level. I’ve previously compared her style to that of Amy Lee, but you can add four time Grammy Award winner Pat Benatar to that list too.
The collective approach to song writing that New Age Grace employ pays dividends on ‘Without Conscience’, which is both emotionally raw and musically tight.
New Age Grace are on tour in the Midlands throughout the Spring, so go check them out – with or without conscience.
